Gen. Oscar “Oca” Albayalde, former Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief and now running as Mayor of Angeles City, Pampanga, shared a boodle fight with around two hundred (200) Aetas of Barangay Sapangbato on Friday, March 7 as part of his community engagement efforts.

Albayalde, who is running under the People’s Reform Party, is set to face incumbent Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II in the 2025 local elections.

Actor Aljur Abrenica, a native of Angeles City who is running for city councilor, joined him in the activity. The two also distributed relief items to the indigenous residents.

The initiative underscores Albayalde’s commitment to inclusive governance and strengthening grassroots connections, particularly with marginalized sectors of the city.
